The Student Innovation Center’s new online training process for Makerspace equipment
This video is a quick breakdown on how to complete the online trainings for the Makerspaces of the Student Innovation Center. You can get started with the Makerspace Tracker at this link: https://makerspace-tracker.sictr.iastate.edu/
The Makerspace Tracker is the new system where required safety trainings are housed along with machine specific training courses. You must complete all Makerspace required trainings. Following those trainings, you will be able to find individual tool/machine trainings where you’ll need to complete the following steps:
- Watch the machine-specific videos.
- Complete the course quiz with a 100% grade.
- Sign up for hands-on training
Registration for hands-on training will unlock once you’ve completed the videos and course quiz. If you have any questions please reach out to the respective Makerspace.
