SPARKS Cafe
SPARKS is a 100% student-run café on the 4th floor of the Student Innovation Center. Operated by the College of Human Science’s Apparel, Events, and Hospitality Department (AESHM). Students are fully responsible for managing the café and are learning to manage daily business decisions about inventory, food safety, hiring and salaries, product pricing, marketing, and defining sales strategies.
ISU Printing Services
ISU Printing Services is conveniently located in the Student Innovation Center on the 2nd floor, at the top of the grand staircase. This location is geared and staffed to handle students, faculty, staff, and other ISU units’ print needs, from course materials to posters. Their primary location for larger and more complex jobs is in the Printing & Publication building on the north side of campus.
Innovate 1858
Innovate 1858 is a real-world, hands-on learning lab store, developed and managed by ISU’s Apparel, Merchandising, and Design students and faculty. The store partners with student entrepreneurs and makers to develop their entrepreneurial skills and provide them with real-world learning opportunities through selling their products.
