Donated Lumber for Projects

The Student Innovation Center received a generous donation of hardwoods and want to help students turn their creative ideas into reality. This opportunity is first come, first served, so don’t wait!

What do I need to do?

  • Submit a plan: A sketch, drawing, computer model, cut list, or anything that shows dimensions and your concept. It doesn’t need to be highly detailed—just enough to communicate your vision.
  • Training: Complete the necessary training for your project at the Student Innovation Center.
  • Build Location: Projects must be 100% completed in the Student Innovation Center. The donated wood cannot be used in other shops across campus.
  • Document Your Build: Save your plans, take photos during the process, and do a final photo shoot of your completed project.
