Culinary Creation Lab
The College of Human Sciences operates the Culinary Creation Lab, where students apply the concepts of physics, biology and chemistry to the culinary arts. Examples include the Molecular Gastronomy and Innovations in Chocolate half-semester workshops.

Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship
The Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship offers student entrepreneurs many resources and opportunities, including pitch competitions, entrepreneurial events, and guidance for starting or growing a business.

Start Something LAS Academy
The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences’ two-year Start Something LAS Academy engages students in online, face-to-face, and interactive activities to experience and develop an innovative and entrepreneurial mindset.

Scientific Illustration and Visualization
Iowa State University’s interdepartmental undergraduate major in Scientific Illustration and Visualization (formerly Biological and Pre-Medical Illustration- BPMI) is a shared program of the ISU College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (LAS) and the College of Design.

Learn MoreThe Innovate 1858 hands-on learning lab store is managed by students and faculty in the Apparel, Merchandising, and Design Department. Store inventory includes products made by student entrepreneurs and makers.

Learn MoreThe quick print center handles printing needs from course materials to posters for students, faculty, staff, and ISU units. Larger and more complex jobs can be sent to Printing Services’ main building.
