Ask Me About: Providing safety support to the Student Innovation Center as well as developing and sustaining safety programs and training tailored to the makerspace environment, with a focus on injury prevention.

My Creative Passions: As an experienced safety professional, my creative passions center on solving problems, guiding others, and communicating ideas that make workplaces safer. I enjoy analyzing challenges from different angles and developing practical solutions that people can actually use. Mentoring emerging professionals is especially rewarding—helping them build confidence, think critically, and grow towards their careers. I also take pride in presenting ideas and lessons learned through engaging talks, where storytelling and real-world experience come together to inspire safer practices and continuous improvement.

My Favorite Space in the Student Innovation Center: I love all the traditional Makerspaces, but if I had to choose one, it would be the 0235 Assembly Bay. It is where students’ ideas come together in a tangible form. Interacting with the students in the hows and whys. I feel that these students are exceptional because they are balancing a full class schedule with an exciting, meaningful, relationship-packed project. This is where listening and coaching can make a lifetime of difference.
