Looking to collaborate, compete, and innovate? The Student Innovation Center is home to eight student organizations that bring ideas to life through hands-on projects, national competitions, and interdisciplinary teamwork. From designing solar cars and off-road vehicles to building autonomous robots and aerospace systems, these teams welcome students from all majors who are passionate, curious, and ready to make an impact.

SAE Formula

Build a prototype autocross/formula vehicle that tests data collection, car mods, and driver skill.

Gaffer’s Guild

The Gaffer’s Guild is dedicated to education and training in the art and science of glassblowing. Membership is open to Iowa State students and the general public. The studio is located on the ground floor (room 1202), near the west entrance.
