The Heavy Metals Makerspace primarily serves as a central location for student organizations affiliated with the Student Innovation Center. In this makerspace, they manufacture competition vehicles based on CAD models and sketches created by students.

Makerspace Hours

Makerspaces are closed daily for an afternoon meal break and on university holidays. Hours are subject to change.

If your project involved materials like fiberglass, carbon fiber, or resin layups, check out the Composites Shop Makerspace. It’s a specialized workspace equipped for molding, bonding, and fabricating with composite materials.
