Discover what it means to Innovate at Iowa State by visiting us on the west side of campus near the historic Marston Water Tower. We have multiple options to guide you through parts or portions our over 146,000 square foot Student Innovation Center depending on the goals of your visit!
- General Building Tour (75 minutes): Embark on a comprehensive journey with a Student Assistant lead General Building Tour. This tour will take you through all five floors of the Student Innovation Center with an inside look into each of the Makerspaces as well as campus club and organization spaces, student opportunities, classrooms, and college spaces.
- Makerspace Tour (20 minutes per Makerspace): Tailor your visit to exploring one or more of our five cutting-edge Makerspaces. This Makerspace specific tour will be lead by a Makerspace Supervisor or a Student Assistant. Each Makerspace takes approximately 20 minutes to explore, you may select the Makerspaces you would like to visit using the form below.
- Programming + Tour (50 minutes to 2 hours): Work with our Innovation Programs Team to develop an engaging experience designed to meet your group’s interests and learning goals. We are currently offering a brief introduction to innovation or creativity and a tour which can also be combined with a hands on creative opportunity, provided there is more than 50 minutes available.
- LEED Gold Tour (50 minutes): Delve into the sustainability achievements of the LEED Gold Certified building with a member of the Facilities Planning and Management Team.
